COVID-19 Update – Our Health Management Plan

The health and well-being of our staff and guests is our highest priority.

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are applying screening processes and hygiene measures to safeguard visitors and our Taka Team.

If you are experiencing any symptoms linked to COVID-19, if you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or if you have travelled through any recognised ‘hot-spots’ for COVID-19, then as a precautionary measure, please re-schedule your visit to a later date.

We will be asking all guests to complete a ‘Self-Declaration’ form which will also ask for your ‘Travelling History’ for the 14 days prior to visiting us at Takarakka. This record is mandatory and will be kept securely and retained for a period required under our retention schedules in compliance with privacy laws and regulations.

In addition to thorough documentation, we have an increased and rigorous cleaning and sanitisation schedule and we ask all guests to make use of the hand sanitisation stations that are set up around the park.

Unfortunately, for the remainder of this year, we are unable to offer our additional activities such as the Roast Dinners, Guided Walks or Astronomy tours.

We ask for your full support as we all have a shared responsibility to minimise the risk of exposure and protect our individual and collective health.
