Caravan & camping
Come on in, set up camp and get ready to enjoy some Taka time and explore Carnarvon Gorge. An expansive range of powered and unpowered sites are available for all shapes and sizes of caravans, motor homes, camper trailers and tents, in a peaceful bush setting.
Our campsites are nicely spaced, natural grassy areas with a practical mix of shaded and sunny sites and plenty of drive through sites available for large caravans and motor homes.
All accommodation is located close to large communal kitchens with BBQ’s, gas cook tops, sinks and dining areas where you can whip up a meal, plus there are fire pits with firewood supplied so you can get social with fellow campers over a glass of wine or a beer (and of course we have the essential marshmallows available in our general store).
With hot showers in modern, scrupulously clean amenities & laundry facilities available, we’ve got you covered.
There’s a dump point as well, although due to our remote location, we’d ask you to consider using the free public dump points on the way in and out of the gorge at Rolleston, Springsure, Injune, Roma and Emerald. Caught short? Let us know and we’ll help out. Thanks for your understanding.
